The Frog, the Drum, and the Mythical Bird: Animal Wisdoms and Mythologies draws on collaborative knowledge-making, encouraging participants to engage in deep listening and to be attentive to the natural landscapes we pass through and inhabit.
Grounded in our emotional connection to land, sky, sea, and the interconnected non- and more-than-human ecologies we are a part of, the session delves into place histories, the cumulative nature of stories, and acts of storytelling connected to the vast webs of islands, water bodies, geo-spirited landscapes and shapeshifting habitations surrounding Pulau Ujong/Singapura.
Participants can look forward to a gallery walk, short writing exercise, collective storytelling, and a short essay film screening. Limited spaces available!
