Explore the vibrant and abstract sculptures at the ACM Green, where inspiration from frames, doorways, motifs, and intricate patterns discovered among the objects on display at ACM comes to life. This installation invites you to trace patterns, gaze through portals, and create sounds as you move between the shapes and forms, fostering playful exploration.
This art installation is designed by Hazel Lim-Schlegel and Andreas Schlegel, with input from their young daughter, Hanna Schlegel.
Design your own board game, stage a puppet show, weave a food cover, and more! In this exciting 2-museums activity trail, discover curious and wonderful objects on display at ACM and the Peranakan Museum. Complete all activities at ACM to redeem a special sticker set, then head to the Peranakan Museum to complete your collection.

Engage in epic battles on the chessboard and get to know your opponents better with the card game “We’re Not Really Here for Chess”. Create your own king or queen crown at our craft corner, or play a game of life-sized chess. If you’re a beginner, meet our friendly chess masters who will teach you the basics.

There was a special bond between Meera and her grandmother, one that contains many secrets and time spent playing together. In memory of her grandmother, Meera would explore the chest of dupattas (long scarves) that grandma had left for her and make a sanctuary of play to honour her grandmother. Join Meera in this fun-filled creative play session, which includes an improvisation game and a printmaking session.
