Celebrate the Lunar New Year with two captivating exhibitions steeped in Chinese culture and tradition.

Gardens by the Bay ushers in the Year of the Snake with Spring Blossoms, a floral display at the Flower Dome that draws inspiration from the Legend of the White Snake, one of the Four Great Folktales of China. At the centre of the display is a stunning 4.5-metre floral rendition of the protagonist, Madam White Snake, standing amid a vibrant landscape of dahlias and festive blooms.

Also on display are two intricately crafted wooden models of pagodas linked to the legend, on loan from the Asian Civilisations Museum. The models are part of a historic set of 84 pagodas carved by artists from Shanghai’s Tushanwan Workshop between 1912 and 1914. The collection travelled thousands of miles to San Francisco for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition of 1915, where it introduced Western audiences to traditional Chinese architecture.

Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility for complimentary admission
   Each Flower Dome ticket allows 1 complimentary admission to the Pagoda Odyssey special exhibition.
   Each Friends of the Gardens family membership allows up to 5 complimentary admission to the Pagoda Odyssey special exhibition.
   
   
2. How to register?
   Scan the QR near the pagodas inside the Flower Dome to register. A confirmation email from ACM will be sent upon successful registration.
   
   
3. How to redeem?
   Visitors can redeem their complimentary admission* at ACM using any of the following methods:
   a) Present Flower Dome ticket. Entry must be dated between 17 January and 23 February 2025.
   b) Present Friends of the Gardens membership AND confirmation email from ACM.
   *Complimentary admission must be used on the same day it is redeemed.
   
   
4. Redemption Period
   Redeem from 17 January to 23 February 2025, or while tickets last. Redemption of tickets is valid for 7 days from the date of your Flower Dome visit.
