Terms & Conditions

Not for sale or exchange. All tickets purchased are non-refundable. Entry is subject to the museum’s prevailing venue rules and regulations.

  1. Valid proof of identity (e.g. passport, school pass) must be presented at the Visitor Services counter to enjoy concession prices.
  2. Admission to the museum is free for all students, staff and teachers regardless of nationality from the following types of schools in Singapore:
    • 100% Government Schools: Primary, Secondary, ITE, Junior Colleges, Polytechnics and Millennia Institute
    • Government-Aided or Independent Local Schools: e.g. Hwa Chong Institution, Anglo-Chinese Schools, Singapore Sports School, School of the Arts, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and LASELLE College of the Arts
    • Singapore Universities: e.g. NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD, SIT, SUSS and NIE
  3. Concession admission fees apply to non-Citizen and non-Permanent Resident students and staff from the following types of schools in Singapore:
    • Private Schools: e.g. Kaplan, MDIS, SIM, LaSalle International
    • Overseas Schools
  4. Special Access concession fees apply to persons with disabilities. One accompanying caregiver will enjoy free admission regardless of caregiver's nationality.
  5. Discount is valid for 3 months from the date of purchase of a National Museum of Singapore or Changi Chapel Museum ticket.

Getting Here

 

Parking
Parking is not available on-site at the museum. Free parking is available at the nearest public carpark, Carpark 'C' of Kent Ridge Park, located about 100m downslope from the museum.

Bus
You may alight from bus no. 10, 175, 30, 51, 176, 188 and 143 at Opp Currency Hse (15199) or Pasir Panjang Stn/FC (15191 and walk up to the museum at the top of the hill (about 750m). Expect an uphill walk of about 15-20 mins from the bus stop to the museum.

MRT
You may alight at Pasir Panjang MRT Station (CC26) on the Circle Line, and exit via Exit A. After which, please cross to the opposite side of Pasir Panjang Road and walk in the same direction as traffic for about 300m. Turn left onto Pepys Road and walk uphill for about 700m to arrive at the museum. Expect an uphill walk of about 15-20 mins from Pasir Panjang MRT station to the museum.
