Donate an Artefact
Contribute historically significant artefacts that help tell intimate stories of prisoners of war and civilians interned during World War Two.
The Changi Chapel and Museum appreciates the priceless artefacts that have been donated to our collection. The collection allows us to curate exhibitions and present programmes that shed light on the hardships that the internees underwent, as well as their courage and resilience in the face of difficulties.
If you would like to donate an item, kindly fill up the Donations & Acquisitions Form and email it to NHB_NMS_Curatorial@nhb.gov.sg. Make sure to include a clear photo of the item for our review and assessment.
Kindly note that the museum will only be able to physically retrieve items after their donation has been approved. All approved donations are eligible for tax deduction in accordance with regulations set by IRAS and the National Heritage Board.
Unfortunately, staff at our visitor counters are not qualified to assess or handle objects meant for donation, especially those that are valuable, so please do not drop them off at the museum counter. Thank you.
Please contact us at NHB_NMS_Curatorial@nhb.gov.sg if you have further queries about artefact donations. For other queries, please contact the Partnerships Team at SupportNMS@nhb.gov.sg.
