Meeting Point: Changi Chapel and Museum
$21.80 per pax (incl. GST)
Explore the Changi Chapel and Museum (CCM), together with two sites within the Changi Prison Complex, in one exclusive tour!
Starting with a docent-guided tour of the CCM, participants will learn about the experiences of the prisoners of war during the Japanese Occupation from 1942 to 1945.
This will be followed by a visit to the Changi Prison’s entrance gate, wall and turrets – a national monument– to find out more about the prison’s past. End off with a tour of the Singapore Prison Service’s (SPS) heritage gallery and take in its rich history from the 1800s to the present. Immerse yourself in exhibits illustrating pre-wartime conditions, discover the challenges of early custodial duties, and find out how the SPS has evolved over time.
Participants must be at least 13 years old, and are required to provide their full name, ID number, contact number and name of organisation or school for entry into the Changi Prison Complex. Only one ticket may be purchased at a time to capture each participant's details accurately.
Price includes admission into all venues and transportation between CCM and Changi Prison Complex. The programme will end at CCM.
