Rental of Discovery Room

The Discovery Room is a versatile space which can cater to different set-ups. Suitable for discussions, storytelling and workshops.

Terms and Conditions

1. All requestors shall complete the Discovery Room Booking Form (Annex A) and email it to cmsg@heritage.sg for review at least two (2) months prior to event start date. CMSG will get back to applicants within seven (7) working days on booking request.
2. Rental rates are chargeable as stated above.
3. Venue booking is subject to venue availability and the intended purpose is deemed appropriate for CMSG. 
4. Below is the list of programmes/activities that are strictly not allowed; the list is non-exhaustive:
   • Religious purposes
   • Political activities
   • Any activities that go against the interests of children
5. Only proposals that fulfil all the mandatory criteria shall be considered for venue sponsorship and partnership/collaboration possibilities. Request for venue sponsorships are only limited to two (2) sponsorships per individual/organisation per calendar year.

Payment

1. A 50% non-fundable deposit (before GST) is to be paid upon confirmation of the event.
2. The balance payment must be paid before the event. Any add-ons must be paid at the end of the event, on the same day.
3. A 10% admin charge (before GST) will be imposed for cancellations on top of the 50% non-refundable deposit, if event cancellation is made two weeks before event, after confirmation.
