An Installation by Very Small Exhibition X Temasek Polytechnic School of Design
A dot is the most basic element of a design. Two dots initiate a line, lines establish shapes, and shapes become forms.
The dots in this installation demarcate the starting and ending points of the ribbons. When a ribbon is connected from point to point, it forms a line. Each ribbon covers an area, making it a shape. All the ribbons come together to create a whole new form.
The simple dot can transform into any form. Similarly, the possibilities of design are endless.
