About Yazzit Ismail (Facilitator)
Md Yazzit started guitars since he was 13, until he discovered his passion for bass at the age of 20. Yazzit credits his passion for music to bass, citing that it was the bass that has kept his journey in music alive.
Winning numerous local and regional band competitions under his leadership, Yazzit has played in various gigs and festivals, from local underground gigs to televised music shows and is no stranger to both the Malay and English music scene. Winning competitions with the band By Definition and Diversity, (Mediacorp’s “Live the Dream” and Suria’s “Juara”, both a Reality Televised Band Competition Champion), he has gone a long way ever since.
Yazzit played bass professionally, gigging 6 nights a week for 14 years in the night club circuit until he decided to commit his time fully to his studio “The Basement Studio” and his Private Bass lessons “The Bass Circle”. Yazzit is currently the bass player for Wicked Aura, Les Dudis and sessions for Jive Talkin occasionally.
