The Theatre Practice is proud to present The Nursery Rhymes Project – aimed at introducing a new generation of Singaporean children to the joys of Mandarin nursery rhymes. Updating old classics and introducing new gems, The Nursery Rhymes Project blends childhood favourites, traditional folk songs and beloved hits from our children’s musicals, and is an excellent tool for parents and teachers to continue the tradition of nursery rhymes at home and in schools.
Join us for a fun-filled morning of exciting street performances and delicious local snacks! Get ready to SING and DANCE along! And be one of the first to grab a copy of "Paint Our Songs" where nursery rhymes come to life through Singaporean illustrator Lee Kow Fong (Ah Guo) iconic illustrations. The book comes with the soundtrack "Sing Our Songs" featuring old childhood classics spiced up with local leading musician Julian Wong's new arrangements, sung by a host of local talents.

Last but not least, catch mini jukebox musical - "Imagine Our Songs" at 10am & 11.30am, featuring short stories written by award-winning lyricist Xiaohan and directed by Isabella Chiam and Kuo Jian Hong. Parents and kids, get ready to sing and dance along!
