Join us on the evening of 20 February and let environmental historian Fiona Williamson take you through the history and politics of floods in Singapore. On 22 February, hear from Singapore's storm chasing community in Chasing Storms, followed by an optional trip to Science Centre Singapore.
Commemorate the 83rd anniversary of the Battle of Singapore with the HistoriaSG talk "Former Japanese Soldiers: Their Memories of the Malayan Campaign and Fall of Singapore" on 27 February.
Lastly, spend the day with us on 1 March with a line up of three programmes. We begin with a mindful teak woodcrafting workshop in the morning, then a guided tour of Amazônia before heading to West Coast Park for a sharing session with members of Singapore's native Orang Laut community. You'll get to try your hand at assembling a Jong boat. End the day with a creative writing workshop back at our museum as you read, discuss and compose poetry inspired by the Amazon rainforest and its peoples.
