Participate in our drop-in hands-on activities between 9am and 12pm during Quiet Mornings on the first Thursday of each month.

Each session offers a fun and easy activity suitable for all ages, and presents a wonderful opportunity for seniors to reminisce about their past experiences.

Our friendly volunteers will be available on-site to guide you along, if you need assistance. Join us at the National Museum in the next Quiet Morning with your loved ones!

Singing to Remember Dementia Choir

Singing to Remember, Dementia Choir Perfomance

Come down for a carol session and embrace the warm Christmas spirit with a delightful morning of songs, games, and a special performance by the Dementia Choir. Trained by Angelina Choo of Urban Music Productions, the choir is made up of seniors, including persons living with dementia and their caregivers and volunteers.

Sing and dance along with your family and friends, while engaging in meaningful conversations about music's powerful role in helping participants cope with dementia. You will learn a variety of songs, from timeless classics to contemporary hits. This session is for everyone: from beginners to avid singers. Come along to create wonderful memories this festive season with us today!

Terrarium Workshop with Hortherapeutics

Join our unique terrarium workshop inspired by the Amazônia special exhibition! Create a mini Amazon ecosystem while reflecting on deforestation and climate change. Practice mindfulness as you craft your own miniature rainforest, led by Hortherapeutics.

Hortherapeutics is Singapore's first social enterprise specialising in therapeutic garden design and therapeutic horticulture, with a mission to empower individuals with different abilities with a sense of purpose and meaning through nature and plant-based activities.
