Frequently Asked Questions
The Peranakan Museum is open daily (including public holidays) from 10am to 7pm with extended hours till 9pm on Fridays.
Paid public parking is available next to the Peranakan Museum. As parking spaces are limited, visitors may wish to consider alternative parking spaces nearby, such as NTUC Income Centre, Funan, Excelsior, and Peninsula Plaza.
Singaporeans/PRs who are entitled to free admission to the museum should bring along a valid ID (e.g. NRIC) and present to the Visitor Services counter to collect an admission sticker to enter the galleries.
Public guided tours are available. The tour schedule can be found here.
You may register for the public guided tour at the Visitor Services counter. Each guided tour can accommodate up to 15 visitors. Registration for guided tours is only available on the tour day itself, on a first come first served basis.
All galleries are accessible by lift. To go to the galleries, take the lift at level 1 behind the lobby.
All galleries can be accessed by wheelchairs. Manual and motorised wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and standard-size strollers are allowed in all galleries. Wheelchair-friendly washrooms are available at Level 1 and Level 3.
Museum merchandise is available at the Co.Lab Space, at level 1 behind the Visitor Services counter.
