Technical Guidelines
The technical guides serve as a set of reference resources for owners/occupiers of National Monuments. Their use should be considered if considering works relevant to the content covered in each technical guide.
These guides deal with technical matters relating to conservation, repair, maintenance and management of historic buildings and structures. They are aimed at providing a basic understanding of the technical issues that could be faced, and provide basic solutions to challenges that might be faced. They should not be used as a sole reference.
