During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen many cultural organisations switch to, or deploy additional, digital offerings to keep the public engaged. Even as cultural venues around the world look to reopen their doors to visitors, the practice of safe distancing at most venues is expected to be the new norm. This session provides a global overview of the digital and social media strategies that museums and cultural institutions have embarked on to engage audiences globally, and presents specific case studies from international museums and cultural institutions.
