Celebrate the year’s end with catchy musical beats from the drama and storytelling sessions as we explore the variety of musical instruments from the museum’s collection. Then get hands-on and create your own drum spinner at the craft station to take home!

Design your own colourful drum spinner to create delightful musical tunes as you ring in the new year!
Suitable for ages 5 and above with parental guidance. While supplies last.

River Room, Level 2
Follow our explorer on a hike up the Yellow Mountain, in search of the potion of youth. Along the way, meet newfound companions, including the pine tree and the clouds. Join us for this performance to discover the encounters and surprises awaiting at the summit!
Suitable for ages 4 and above.
1.30–2.15pm
$10 refundable deposit/parent-child pair
Join us for a special puppetry session to learn about the different types of puppets used around the world and its history. Get a chance to get up close and try your hands at manipulating the puppets with the friendly puppeteer in this session by The Finger Players. Suitable for ages 7 and above.
