BOTANICAL ART GALLERY

The Botanical Art Gallery is housed within the second refurbished conserved building, Gallop House No. 7 (Inverturret), which was built in 1906. The gallery highlights the vital role that art plays in the scientific documentation of plants in Singapore and the region, as well as how art can inspire renewed appreciation of the natural world around us.

FORT CANNING HERITAGE GALLERY

More than a hilltop park in the city, Fort Canning Park holds historical significance to Singapore. It was once the palace home to 5 Malay kings who ruled during the 14th century. 500 years later, as the British Empire was setting up a trading post in Singapore, they began using the verdant space here for civil and military purposes.

LIVINGSPACE

HDB’s refreshed gallery, LIVINGSPACE, is a one-stop destination that showcases Singapore’s public housing story through a wide range of multi-media and interactive exhibits. Explore the gallery to understand the thinking and planning that have gone into providing affordable homes in a quality living environment for Singaporeans.

SG MOBILITY GALLERY

The Land Transport Gallery provides visitors with a visual and sensory experience of Singapore’s transport development.

MOE HERITAGE CENTRE

MOE Heritage Centre showcases Singapore’s Education Story from the early 19th century to the present. The Centre is set-up to inspire those aspiring to be teachers, affirm the work of serving educators and commemorate the contributions of educators and communities that have shaped education since the founding of Singapore.

SINGAPORE BOTANIC GARDENS HERITAGE MUSEUM

Established by the National Parks Board, the SBG Heritage Museum features interactive and multimedia exhibits and panels that detail the Gardens' rich heritage. Historical items that will be displayed include old photographs, artefacts, plant specimens, rare botanical books and botanical paintings that date back to the early 19th century.

SINGAPORE CITY GALLERY

First opened in 1999, the Singapore City Gallery tells the story of Singapore's physical transformation over the past 50 years. Make time for highlights like the panoramic sights and sound show, A Day in Singapore and the Central Area Model Light and Sound Show. Or be awed by the architectural models or the various interactive and experiential exhibits in the gallery.

The Gallery provides insights into Maritime Singapore to help visitors understand the story of contemporary Maritime Singapore, its importance to Singapore’s economy, and the diverse range of exciting and rewarding career options it offers.

GRASSROOTS HERITAGE CENTRE

Showcasing four decades of significant milestones in community development, the Grassroots Heritage Centre traces the exciting growth of the People’s Association (PA) and its grassroots organisations through moving historical accounts, pictures, audio reels, exhibits and artefacts. Relive how our grassroots organisations have promoted racial harmony and social cohesion for the community since it was first set up in the 1960s. Experience how life was like back then with a mock-up of a 60s style community centre.
